Name Kellogg’s Napoleon
Location Kutno
Implementation date 2016
Scope of work
Comprehensive implementation of a mechanical ventilation system for Pringles Kellogg’s Napoleon production facility in Kutno, with an area of 10,000 m²
The project was definitely one of the most demanding projects we have delivered so far, mainly due to a very short implementation date of the first stage, i.e. the comprehensive transfer of a ventilation system in the Carolus facility from the first stage, with the relocation of ventilation units with a total flow of approx. 500,000 m³/h and the connection of a network of ventilation ducts of approx. 4,000 m². The completion date with commissioning and initial adjustment of 21 days (nonstop).
The scope of the second stage
Comprehensive installation of the Primary Packing and Secondary Packing room ventilation system
The system comprised a network of ventilation ducts with a total area of approx. 7,000 m² with all necessary accessories. The air source was an air handling unit with an air flow of 160,000 m³/h.
Most of the work carried out in the facility was classified as particularly dangerous. During the main period of the project implementation, the work was supervised by 20 health and safety specialists.
Due to the tight schedule, most of the works were carried out at the same time, so 80% of the work was done using aerial work platforms placed over the technological lines.
